Nativity of Mary
A Celebration of Gratitude for a Quality Service
Rome (Italy). Last September 8, on the feast of the Nativity of Mary, was held in the Generalate of the FMA a solemn Eucharist presided by Msgr. Enrico Dal Covolo, Rector of the Pontifical Lateran University, with the participation of the Postulator for the Causes of Saints, Fr. Pier Luigi Cameroni.
It was intended to express, together and in a prayerful manner, gratitude to Sister Giuliana Accornero FMA who for about 40 years taught canon law at the Facoltà di Scienze dell’Educazione “Auxilium” and Università Pontificia Salesiana and since 1985 she was Vice Postulator for the Causes of Saints in the Institute of the FMA.
In his homily, Msgr. Covolo, after having explained the meaning of the Feast of Mary, the dawn that heralds the Sun of Justice, the temple that God has prepared for the coming of his Son into the world, has highlighted some of the services rendered by Sister Giuliana.
In her mission, she gave witness to competence and discretion, intelligence and generosity, not failing to express frankly his opinion at the appropriate time, to promote the good and .... the Causes of Saints!
The greetings that was addressed at the end of the homily is a wish of blessing for her new mission in Pavia, at "Mary Help of Christians" community, which she will join in the coming days: "If each person threw a flower on the path of others, the earth would be full of joy and peace. "
