The Second Pre-Capitular Commission at work

The Second Pre-Capitular Commission at work
Rome (Italy). Preparation for General Chapter XXIII intensifies. Since January 7, a second Pre-Capitular Commission is at work to continue reflection and study together in preparing the Working Document.
The Commission, coordinated by the Chapter regulatory, Sr. Chiara Cazzuola, is composed of eight FMA coming from different cultural contexts: Sr. Figueroa Carmen Maria (ANT), Sr. Sberga Adair (BSP), Sr. Purcell Elisabeth (CND), Sr. Cocco Maria Teresa (ILO), Sr. George Elizabeth (ING), Sr. Langa Paula Cristina (MOZ), Sr. Szczesna Anna (PLJ), Sr. Rastello Elena (RCG), Sr. Reboso M. Nieves (SSE).
These Sisters have received the work of synthesis elaborated by the first Pre-Capitular Commission. Through dialogue, confrontation, and study together, they are gradually proceeding in the delineation of criteria and nuclei around which to elaborate the Working Document of the next General Chapter. The Working Document is an organic proposal for Chapter reflection and, at the same time, a restitution to all the FMA of the journey made in the communities and Provinces.
For this reason, the Commission is involved in reflective and serious work, with an intense schedule. In the course of these favorable days, there is the meeting between the General Council and the Commission to share and reflect further together, and to confront each other on what is prepared. All is carried out under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, in listening and in dialogue, with reflections and study. All is lived with the love and sense of responsibility that characterizes these Sisters.
At the conclusion of the drafting of the document, it will be sent to the General Chapter participants so that it may be a valid resource in preparation of the great convocation of the Institute that will begin in September, and to the Province Communities, so that all the FMA may prepare themselves for this important event in the Institute. The participants can share the contents of the Working Document with all those they wish to involve in studying it and seeking intervention strategies.
Everyone should feel themselves directly interested I this journey of research, of reflection, and of deepening that commit us to live daily, in the first person, being, with the young, a home that evangelizes.
